Looking for extremely small OS with these features?

- SMALL (Damn Small Linux)
- Boots from flash drive (Ubuntu)
- Supports wifi cards for aspire one netbooks (Ubuntu)
- Has a browser (Chrome OS)
- Browser has flash (Moblin)
- Has VPN solutions built in (???)
- Not easily hackable from romote machine (???)

You might want to try Slackware Linux with customized setup. I played with lots of different Linux distros specifically trying to get very small image, and I got the best results with Slackware, which is solid working Linux and is highly customizable. I tried “Damn Small Linux”, but it was too unreliable and restrictive.
Be prepared to spend time on package customization during setup though if you choose this path.
