Netbooks 8.9 Inch
What netbook to purchase. Samsung NC10 OR Asus Eee PC 1000HE?
I am debating between the samsung nc10 Special edition which runs for 499 and the Asus Eee PC 1000HE which is 374, from amazon.
Both are 10.2 inch screens, with good keyboards. memory and ram is the same. The battery life about the same.
I never real owned an Asus and never real heard of them until recently.
I am a college student who take all my classes right after each other…so i need about 8-9 hours battery life since i like to purchase the ebook when i can
I need it light weight Max 3 pounds with 6 cell battery. Ill spend no more then 500 on the computer but i really want one that’ll last me at least 2-3 years.
I tried out the HP MINI 1000 i loved it but battery life was horrible.
If their are any other netbooks that might suit me better please let me know. Thank you
1000HE is a no brainer. newer CPU, faster frontside bus, faster memory speed, 9.5 hour battery life.
It’s the only netbook on the market (for the next 30 days anyway) with the new Atom 280 cpu, and will be the only one of any brand with anywhere near that battery life for a long time
